BRANDING
Brand identity for a fictional company
Timeline
2 weeks
Background
Floria is a fictional digital flower shop for which I created a brand identity based on the concept "Flowers crafted by emotions." The company aims to provide customers with a unique floral experience where they can choose flowers based on the emotions they wish to convey, whether for their own home or as a gift for someone else.
I started by conducting a market analysis to see how other flower companies were operating, while also seeking inspiration for images, fonts, and colors that align with Floria's key words - expressive, timeless and emotional.
Images
I created all the images in Midjourney, as Floria should primarily be recognized by expressive pictures, women with flowers covering their faces.
Symbol
The symbol of Floria is not used alongside the logo; these are used separately. The symbol represents Floria’s typical imagery: women adorned with flowers.

Challenges
What was challenging in this project is that it deals with personal preferences and tastes, rather than facts. What one person thinks looks good, another might think looks less appealing – who is right? The challenge has been to stand firm in my own opinions and to have the courage to trust myself.
Lesson learned
The lesson from this has been to be confident in your opinions and believe in yourself; it's perfectly okay to have different taste.
